- 1 kilo of cleaned tahong or mussels
- 1 ½ cup of Sprite soda
- 2 thumbs of ginger crushed
- 2 pcs onions sliced
- 1 head of garlic crushed
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
- Salt and pepper powder to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a wok, heat the cooking oil.
- Sauté the garlic, onion and ginger, and the mussels to simmer for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Pour in the soda and boil for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Add salt and pepper powder to taste. Remove from heat.
- Serve and enjoy your mussels cooked in ginger mussels or tinolang tahong in Tagalog!
