- 10 boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1 large onion - thinly sliced
- 3/4 cup dry white wine (not cooking wine)
- 1 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 cup honey
- juice and zest of 1/2 lemon
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- Season the chicken thighs with the salt and pepper.
- Place the onions and wine in a large baking pan.
- Put the seasoned chicken thighs on top of the onions.
- In a small bowl whisk together the glaze ingredients.
- Brush some of the glaze over the chicken thighs and place on middle rack in oven to bake uncovered for 1 hour.
- Brush with more glaze every 20 minutes.
- After 1 hour of baking and glazing, place
- the chicken under the broiler for about 4 minutes to brown.
- Serve warm with the onions and a green veg or mashed potatoes.
