- 1/4 kg pork belly cut into cubes
- 1 pc of onion quartered
- 1 large tomato quartered
- 1/2 tbsp of salt
- 1/2 tbsp of pepper
- 5 cups of water
- 1 Eggplant cut diagonally
- 3 Cups of Kangkong (Water Spinach)
- 2 Pcs. Of Siling Mahaba (Finger Peppers)
- 1 Packet of Knorr Sinigang Mix
- In a large pot, pour in together the pork, onions, tomatoes, siling mahaba, salt and pepper and bring them to boil.
- When meat is already tender, add the tamarind seasoning powder or the knorr sinigang mix and simmer for 5 minutes on medium fire.
- Add the eggplant and put the fire into low for 2 mins.
- Turn off fire and add the kangkong. leave for 2 minutes and serve.
