INGREDIENTS:
- 2 fresh big squids, cut into rings
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- garlic, crushed
- onion, sliced
- black pepper
- salt
- cooking oil
- siling labuyo (hot chilli pepper)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- First, make sure that your squid has its ink. Yeah! gusto ko na ng may ink…un ang sabi ni bukopie eh.
- In a pan, pour the vinegar on the squid.
- Add garlic, pepper & salt to taste.
- Simmer until squid is tender. Set aside.
- Saute garlic and onion on a separate pan.
- Add the cooked squid.
- Sprinkle chilli flakes (i used chilli flakes instead of fresh chilli. i just can’t find labuyo here in korea..pretty ironic huh!). This is optional. I like it a little spicy and black pepper isn’t enough. hehehe
- After a couple of minutes, pour the vinegar mixture.
- Simmer for another 5 minutes and it’s ready to serve!
