Adobong Pusit Recipe




INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 fresh big squids, cut into rings
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • garlic, crushed
  • onion, sliced
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • cooking oil
  • siling labuyo (hot chilli pepper)

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. First, make sure that your squid has its ink. Yeah! gusto ko na ng may ink…un ang sabi ni bukopie eh.
  2. In a pan, pour the vinegar on the squid.
  3. Add garlic, pepper & salt to taste.
  4. Simmer until squid is tender. Set aside.
  5. Saute garlic and onion on a separate pan.
  6. Add the cooked squid.
  7. Sprinkle chilli flakes (i used chilli flakes instead of fresh chilli. i just can’t find labuyo here in korea..pretty ironic huh!). This is optional. I like it a little spicy and black pepper isn’t enough. hehehe
  8. After a couple of minutes, pour the vinegar mixture.
  9. Simmer for another 5 minutes and it’s ready to serve!
