INGREDIENTS:
- 4 hamburger rolls
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 slices ham
- 8 canned pineapple rings
- 4 slices of cheese (ex: fontina, mozzarella, provolone)
- BBQ sauce
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and coat with BBQ sauce, about 2 T BBQ sauce per chicken breast. Grill chicken breasts until done. Immediately top with cheese slice and place in rolls.
- Grill ham and pineapple slices for a few minutes, about 2 minutes per side until heated through and top each chicken/roll with 2 pineapple slices and one ham slice.
- Serve with BBQ sauce on the side.
*for a sweeter BBQ sauce, simmer 1/4 c sauce with 1/4 c pineapple juice until thickened.
