Pan Seared Yellowfin Tuna With Mixed Veggies And Appetizer Recipe


INGREDIENTS

2 slices, 1 inch thick Yellowfin or Ahi Tuna
Salt and Pepper
1 pack Mixed Vegetables (green beans, cauliflower, carrots, cabbages and chayote)
1/2 sachet Aji Ginisa or any powdered seasoning
1 - 2 pieces Eggplants
1 - 2 pieces Tomatoes
3 - 5 tablespoon Mayonnaise
1 piece Hard-boiled egg
Green Onions
3 - 5 tablespoon Olive Oil or Vegetable Oil

DIRECTIONS

  1. Season yellowfin tuna with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear tuna on medium to high heat for 3 - 5 minutes each side. Set aside.
  3. Slice eggplants into 1/2 inch thick crosswise.
  4. Season with salt, pepper and oil. Mix to distribute evenly.
  5. Grill for 3 minutes each side. Set aside.
  6. Slice fresh tomatoes crosswise. Set aside.
  7. Mash hard-boiled egg and mix in mayonnaise.
  8. Assemble appetizer by placing eggplant at the bottom. Place tomatoes on top then mayonnaise mixture. Garnish with chop green onions.
  9. Wash mixed vegetables thoroughly and inspect for any damages.
  10. Heat oil in a pan and stir fry carrots, cauliflower and green beans for 3 minutes. Mix in cabbages and chayote then stir fry for another minute or until the cabbages is wilted. Season with Aji Ginisa.
  11. Arrange everything on a plate then serve and enjoy!
