The Retro Grilled Cheese Recipe


INGREDIENTS

4 slices bread
4 slices Singles or American cheese
2 tablespoons unsalted butter

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat melt the butter.
  2. Place two slices of cheese between to slices of the bread.
  3. Arrange the two grilled cheese sandwiches in a single layer in the skillet. Cook until golden on both sides and the cheese is fully melted, about 3 minutes per side. For optimal cheese melting consider covering the skillet with a baking sheet or lid.
  4. Enjoy with ketchup!
