Stuffed Cheese Crust Pizza Recipe


INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp yeast
  • 1 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm water, More if necessary
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning, Optional
  • 8 pieces cheese strings
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 red onion, cut into long strips
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into long strips
  • black olives, sliced
  • JalapeƱo peppers, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Add yeast to warm water with sugar. and cover it with a lid. set aside for 5 minutes. Yeast will look creamy.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all purpose flour, olive oil and salt. Add yeast mixture to the flour mixture and make a soft dough. Add more water if necessary.
  3. Apply olive oil all over the dough so it does not form a skin. Cover it with a plastic wrap and place it in a warm place. Let rest for 30 minutes until the dough has doubled in size.
  4. Now remove the dough to a flour-dusted surface and knead it to push the air out.
  5. Roll the dough into 1/2 centimetre thickness and transfer to a greased tray.
  6. Place string cheese around edge of pan; fold dough over cheese and use a fork and just press it lightly to seal.
  7. Prick dough thoroughly with a fork.
  8. Apply pizza sauce all over the rolled pizza with a back of a spoon.
  9. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on the top of the sauce and add all of your vegetables.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown.
