Honey Balsamic Glazed Chicken Legs Recipe


INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 chicken legs
  • 2 - 3 teaspoons dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon granulated garlic
  • Salt & pepper
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 375˚F (190˚).
  2. Sprinkle chicken pieces with dried basil and granulated garlic, and season liberally with salt & pepper.
  3. Bake chicken in a large baking dish, lined with parchment paper for 55 minutes to an hour - until skin is golden brown and internal temperature has reached 160˚F.
  4. In a small saucepan over medium-low, heat honey, vinegar and garlic. Bring to a simmer and continue to cook until sauce thickens - about 1 minute - stirring constantly.
  5. Remove chicken from oven and glaze with honey-vinegar mixture before serving.
