INGREDIENTS:
- 4 x 4 oz chicken breasts, raw
- 1/2 cup dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp ground sage (could omit if you don’t have)
- 1 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F. In a small bowl, mix together all the ingredients aside from the chicken with a fork until smooth. In an oven proof dish, pour enough sauce to just cover the bottom. Add in the raw chicken, then pour the rest of the sauce over-top. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is no longer pink or a meat thermometer reads 165 degrees F.
- Top with fresh rosemary, if you have.
Notes:
If you don’t use all the sauce when serving, the calories, sugar and sodium will be lower.
