Sticky Chicken Wings Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pound chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worchester sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1 tsp dry garlic
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of pepper

Other:

  • ½ pound baby potato
  • 2-3 carrots
  • 1-2 tbsp sesame oil
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Whisk Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, honey, and oil in a bowl until marinade is smooth. Add dry mustard, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper and mix well.
  2. Pour the sauce into a sealable plastic bag. Add the chicken wings to the plastic bag, coat with the marinade, squeeze to remove excess air and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hours.
  3. Meanwhile, wash and cut baby potatoes in half. Wash and peel the carrots and cut into medium size chunks. Place them in a large bowl, add oil, season with salt and pepper and toss to coat.
  4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and spray a baking dish with non-stick spray.
  5. Arrange the chicken wings, potato and carrots in baking dish, pour over the rest of the sauce from the plastic bag and bake for 45 minutes or until chicken, potatoes and carrots are fully cooked. If needed, occasionally stir the potato and carrots.
  6. Remove from the oven, garnish with parsley and serve right away in the baking dish or transfer to a warm serving plate.
