INGREDIENTS:
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 3 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons pure orange juice
- 1 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon Sriracha, optional
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 4 (5 ounces each) salmon fillets or 1 1/4 lbs of salmon
- 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
- toasted sesame seeds for topping
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce,orange juice, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, Sriracha and pepper, to taste.
- Place each salmon fillet, skin side down, atop a sheet of foil on prepared baking sheet.
- Brush or spoon the glaze over each fillet and wrap all sides of the foil to cover the fillet and seal closed. Repeat with all fillets.
- Bake in preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- Open the foil and spoon sauce over salmon and broil for an additional 2-3 minutes, until salmon is slightly charred.
- Serve immediately and garnish with fresh cilantro and sesame seeds, if desired.
