Orange Sesame Salmon In Foil Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons pure orange juice
  • 1 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sriracha, optional
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 4 (5 ounces each) salmon fillets or 1 1/4 lbs of salmon
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
  • toasted sesame seeds for topping
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce,orange juice, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, Sriracha and pepper, to taste.
  3. Place each salmon fillet, skin side down, atop a sheet of foil on prepared baking sheet.
  4. Brush or spoon the glaze over each fillet and wrap all sides of the foil to cover the fillet and seal closed. Repeat with all fillets.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Open the foil and spoon sauce over salmon and broil for an additional 2-3 minutes, until salmon is slightly charred.
  7. Serve immediately and garnish with fresh cilantro and sesame seeds, if desired.
