Slow Cooker Hawaiian Ribs Recipe



INGREDIENTS:
  • 3 pounds ribs (I use boneless)
  • 1 c. crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. white vinegar
  • 1/4 c. low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 T. sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tsp. Chinese 5-Spice powder
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. liquid smoke
  • 1 tsp. Hawaiian sea salt
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Mix together pineapple, brown sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, chili sauce, 5-spice, garlic, liquid smoke, and sea salt.
  2. Put the ribs into the cooker.
  3. Pour sauce over the ribs.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
  5. Flip the ribs over a few times while cooking to coat evenly in the sauce. The longer and slower you cook the ribs, the more tender the meat will be.
