Pasta Arrabiata Recipe





INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 lb Spicy Italian Sausage
  • 1 Yellow Onion, Diced
  • 3 Cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 28 oz Can + 1 10.5 oz Can Crushed Tomatoes
  • 2 T Olive Oil
  • 2 T Lemon Juice
  • 3 T Sugar
  • 2 tsp Basil
  • 2 tsp Oregano
  • 2 tsp Thyme
  • 1 T Garlic Powder
  • 1 T Onion Powder
  • 3 Plum Tomatoes, Diced
  • 1 lb Pasta
Pasta Arrabiata Recipe

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Heat some oil in a large pot. Add the sausage and brown on all sides. Remove and slice when cool.
  2. Cook the onions in the sausage fat for 3 minutes or until tender and fragrant. Season with salt and pepper. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, olive oil, lemon juice, sugar, basil, oregano, thyme, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook for 2 minutes, then add the diced tomatoes and sausage. Season with salt and pepper and simmer for 20-30 minutes.
  3. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, then toss with the sauce.
