INGREDIENTS:
- 8 oz. spaghetti
- 12 oz. steak {I used a round steak - cut very thin, against the grain}
- 3 c. chopped broccoli
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 t. sesame oil
- 1 T. olive oil
- 3 T. soy sauce
- 2 T. brown sugar
- 3 T. beef broth
- 1 t. red pepper flakes
- sliced green onions
- In a large stockpot of salted boiling water cook the spaghetti according to directions. Remove, drain and set aside.
- In the same stockpot turn onto high heat. Add in olive oil and broccoli. Saute for 3 minutes. Add a bit more oil and add in the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for 30 seconds.
- Add in meat, it will cook quickly, around 3-4 minutes until just cooked through. While meat is cooking, in a small bowl combine the sesame oil, soy sauce, brown sugar and beef broth. When the meat is done, place the spaghetti noodles back in the stockpot, along with the sauce.
- With tongs toss all ingredients together. Serve hot, garnish with green onions.
