Ginger Pork Recipe


INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tablespoons ginger (grated)
  • 1 clove garlic (grated, optional)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sake
  • 1 tablespoon mirin
  • 1 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 pound thinly sliced pork (or beef, etc)
  • 4 servings rice (cooked)
  • 4 green onions (chopped, optional)
  • sesame seeds to taste (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Mix the ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sake, mirin and sesame oil in a bowl.
  2. Marinate the pork in the mixture for 20 minutes.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan.
  4. Add the pork and the marinade and saute until the pork is cooked and the marinade has reduced to a sauce.
  5. Pour the pork and sauce over rice and garnish with Green onions and sesame seeds.
