Sausage And Pepperoni Bread Recipe


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 large fresh pizza dough
  • 1 pound of bulk Italian sausage
  • 1/2 pound of sliced pepperoni
  • 1/2 pound of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
  • Olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon each of salt, pepper, oregano-- mixed together

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Sauté bulk sausage in a large pan-- breaking up into little pieces
  2. Drain sausage
  3. Roll dough into a large rectangle
  4. Spread the sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms and cheese on the dough
  5. Roll up jelly roll style, make sure your ends are tucked in
  6. Place onto a greased sheet pan with the seam down
  7. Coat with a thin layer of olive oil
  8. Sprinkle salt mixture on top
  9. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes or until  golden brown
  10. Let cool before slicing
