Easy Sesame Beef Noodles Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 teaspoons minced garlic (about 3 cloves)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 6 tablespoons pure sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 teaspoons chili garlic paste, sriracha or sambal oelek
  • 12 ounce sirloin steak
  • 12 ounces thin spaghetti noodles
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced (green part only)
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • Cilantro, for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugars and chili sauce. Taste and adjust ingredients to your liking. Pour half the sauce in a shallow container or ziploc bag, add the steak and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Set the other half of the sauce aside.
  2. After marinating, prepare the spaghetti according to package instructions. While the water is boiling, grill the steak to desired doneness (no more than medium for best results). Remove from heat and let sit for a few minutes before slicing thinly across the grain.
  3. Drain the pasta and transfer to a large bowl. Add the remaining half of sesame sauce while noodles are warm and toss to combine. Add green onions, sesame seeds and toss again. Top with sliced steak and cilantro. Also great served cold.
