- Macapuno
- Sugar and water (ratio: a cup water for every 2 cups of sugar)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Cut open macapuno and discard its oily portion.
- Scrape its meat and blanch (put in boiling water) for about 2 minutes.
- Drain and set aside. In a saucepan, mix water and sugar. Make it boil.
- Put drained macapuno into the sugar and water mixture. Cook until macapuno appears translucent.
- While it is hot, pour it into a sterilized jar.
- Let it cool for a while and seal.
