INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups Togue – bean sprouts
- 1-½ cups of pre-fried Tokwa – sliced thinly (see video)
- 1 large skinless, boneless Chicken breast – sliced thinly
- 1 small Onion – sliced thinly
- 3 cloves of Garlic
- 1 tbs. Oyster sauce
- 4 tbs. cooking Oil
- ½ tsp. ground black pepper
- For the marinade:
- 1 tbs. Soy sauce
- 1 tbs. Sesame oil
- 1 tsp. Sugar
- ¼ tsp. Ground black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS:
For the marinade
- Combine Chicken breast with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and ground black pepper.
- Mix it well and set aside.
- Heat 1 tbs. cooking oil and fry the Tokwa (tofu). It is important not to put too much oil at this point, otherwise you can get burned by popping cooking oil.
- After all the Tokwa is cooked, remove from the pan, and let it cool off before slicing it thinly.
- Add 2 tbs. cooking oil to the pan, brown, and cook the marinated chicken breast.
- Once it’s cooked, remove it from the pan and set it aside.
- Now, with a clean pan heat 2 tbs. cooking oil in the pan and brown the garlic.
- Add onions when garlic is ready and allow the onions to cook for one minute.
- After that, add the sliced Tokwa, and allow it to cook for two minutes.
- After the two minutes, you can now add the cooked chicken breast, stir until well incorporated, and allow it to cook for two more minutes.
- Add the oyster sauce and adjust the taste with salt and pepper if needed.
- Add the bean sprouts, stir it well and allow it to cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve with white steamed rice. Enjoy!
