Beef And Vegetable Stir Fry Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 300g lean rump steak
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1 bunch of broccolini
  • 80g snow peas
  • 1 clove of crushed garlic
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of salt reduced soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of mirin or sherry
  • 2 teaspoons chilli
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Heat a non stick fry pan or wok and spray with oil. Add the sliced beef and stir fry until browned. The put aside on a plate.
  2. Slice the onion and then stir fry with garlic, ginger and chilli for 1 minute.
  3. Trim the broccolini, top and tail the snow peas and add to stir fried herbs with a splash of water. Stir fry for for 2-3 mins.
  4. To make sauce, combine soy sauce, mirin and 1/4 cup of water in a small bowl. Add to the wok/ pan and stir fry for another minute. Now add the beef to the pan and toss to combine.
  5. Divide onto two plates and serve.
