INGREDIENTS:
- 300g lean rump steak
- 1 small red onion
- 1 bunch of broccolini
- 80g snow peas
- 1 clove of crushed garlic
- 1 1/2 tablespoons of salt reduced soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoons of mirin or sherry
- 2 teaspoons chilli
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Heat a non stick fry pan or wok and spray with oil. Add the sliced beef and stir fry until browned. The put aside on a plate.
- Slice the onion and then stir fry with garlic, ginger and chilli for 1 minute.
- Trim the broccolini, top and tail the snow peas and add to stir fried herbs with a splash of water. Stir fry for for 2-3 mins.
- To make sauce, combine soy sauce, mirin and 1/4 cup of water in a small bowl. Add to the wok/ pan and stir fry for another minute. Now add the beef to the pan and toss to combine.
- Divide onto two plates and serve.
