Pinakbet Recipe




INGREDIENTS:

  • Bittergourd
  • Eggplant
  • Okra or Lady finger
  • Green chilli
  • Tomatoes
  • String beans
  • Canola Oil
  • Garlic
  • Onion
  • Pork
  • Fish sauce (Ginisang bagoong as alternative)

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Heat pan and oil, saute crushed garlic and chopped onions.
  2. Add pork strips and cook until golden brown.
  3. Add tomatoes and mix until tomatoes are well-cooked, peeling up.
  4. Add all other vegetables except the green chilli and stir fry.
  5. Add fish sauce. And let simmer for 7 minutes.
  6. Add the green chilli and let simmer for another 3 minutes.
  7. Serve with rice.
