INGREDIENTS:
- 1kg Pork belly/spareribs
- 3 tbsp soy sauce (adjust according to your taste)
- 3 cloves garlic
- 11/2tsp corn starch/corn flour dissolve in
- 1 tbsp. water1 1/2 tsp. mince ginger
- 2 1/2 tbsp rice wine1 can pineapple chunks
- 3/4 cup waterolive oil for fryingsalt & pepper to taste
- 1 stalk leeks sliced
- 1 tsp. sesame seed toasted (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Season the pork with salt & pepper. Stir fry in a pan with olive oil until it's brown then remove excess oil.
- Add water, soy sauce, rice wine, garlic, ginger and pineapple chunks including syrup. Cover and simmer for 30 min. on a medium heat or until the pork is tender.
- Add the corn starch/corn flour mixture. Simmer till the sauce thickens. Stir in leeks.
- Serve with toasted sesame as toppings. Enjoy
