INGREDIENTS:
- 280 grams pork, thin slices
- 4 tablespoons sushi vinegar
- 2 tablespoons kikkoman soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 pieces dried bay leaves
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 cups of cooked white rice
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Place the olive oil in a frying pan and apply heat. Fry the garlic until it turns slightly brown.
- Add the pork. Brown the sides for about 1 minute.
- Pour-in the vinegar, soy sauce, water, brown sugar, black pepper, and bay leaves, then mix.
- Bring to a boil without covering.
- Reduce the sauce for around 10 minutes while slightly mixing.
- Serve on top of rice. This recipe makes 2 bowls, so share and enjoy!
