Filipino Style Chicken Wings Recipe



INGREDIENTS:

  • 250 grams chicken wings
  • 4 tablespoons sushi vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons kikkoman soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 pieces dried bay leaves, teared
  • 4 tablespoons water

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Place the olive oil in a frying pan and apply heat. Fry the garlic until it turns brown.
  2. Add the chicken wings. Brown the sides for about 3 minute.
  3. Pour-in the vinegar, soy sauce, water, black pepper, and bay leaves, then mix.
  4. Bring to a boil without covering.
  5. Flip the chicken after 5 minutes to expose the other side of the sauce.
  6. Flip the chicken until the sauce is dry. Fry the chicken for 2 more minutes.
  7. Serve with beer and enjoy!
  8. Alternative serving: You can also eat this with rice. This recipe makes two servings.
