Balon Balunan ng Manok (Chicken Gizzards)

INGREDIENTS


  • Chicken gizzards – 500 g (1.10 lb.)
  • Ginger (minced) - 40 g (1.41 oz.)
  • Red bell pepper (diced) - 100 g (3.53 oz.)
  • Onion (chopped) - 100 g (3.53 oz.)
  • Garlic (minced) - 3 cloves
  • Oyster sauce – 3 tbsp.
  • Lemon juice – from 1 PC.
  • Black pepper (ground) - a pinch
  • Extra virgin olive oil – 2 tbsp.
  • Red chili paste – 1 tsp.

DIRECTIONS



  1. Heat a medium-sized non-stick pan with the extra virgin olive oil and stir fry the onions for 2 minutes.
  2. Add the ginger, garlic, red bell pepper, chicken gizzards, oyster sauce, ground pepper, lemon juice, chili paste and simmer until chicken gizzards are cooked.
