Saladang Bulaklak Ng Katuray (Corkwood Tree Flower Salad)



INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 handfull of bulaklak ng katuray
  • 1 tablespoon bagoong na isda (Fermented fish sauce)
  • 3 tablespoon vinegar
  • Onion for garnishing
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Remove the pistil or the long stem-like on the central portion of the katuray flower
  2. Cook the flower in boiling water for about 3 minutes. Remove from water and set aside.
  3. Mix bagoong and vinegar
  4. Add the flower and mix.
  5. Serve cold.
