Mushrooms And Chicken In White Sauce Recipe


INGREDIENTS:
  • 3 cans of mushrooms
  • 1 lb of chicken breast cut in small pieces
  • ½ cup of sour cream
  • 2 tbsp of flour
  • 3 tbsp of butter
  • 1 onion chopped
  • fresh dill
  • 2 cups of water
  • salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. To make this, in a deep pan, melt the butter and the chopped onion and saute for 3 minutes. Add the chicken breast and cook until chicken is no longer pink.
  2. Add the mushrooms and 2 cups of water, add salt and pepper. In a small bowl whisk the sour cream with the flour and a tbsp of water. Add the sour cream mixture to the pan and stir well.
  3. Make sure the heat is on low, so that it doesn't burn, let this simmer for about 30 min. Add the fresh dill and serve warm.
