Spiced Roasted Ham With Citrus Glaze Recipe




INGREDIENTS:
  • 6 to 7 pound fully-cooked bone-in ham, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon ground coriander
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 cup orange marmalade
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons  light brown sugar- packed
Spiced Roasted Ham With Citrus Glaze Recipe
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Position rack on lowest setting of oven.
  2. If you are not using a spiral cut ham, into the fat, score a 1/8" diamond pattern into the ham.
  3. In a small bowl, combine: coriander, paprika, cumin, cinnamon, and cloves. Rub spice mixture over all sides of the ham. Place ham, flat side down, in a large shallow roasting pan and cook until the internal temperature of the ham reaches 140 degrees F, 1 1/2 to 2 hours or 15 to 18 minutes per pound.
  4. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine: marmalade, orange juice, and sugar.
  5. Brush marmalade mixture over the ham. Return to the oven and roast for additional 5 minutes, until the glaze is lightly caramelized. Remove ham from the oven, transfer to a cutting board, and let rest 15 to 30 minutes prior to slicing.
