INGREDIENTS:
- 2 whole Tilapia (scaled and cleaned)
- rock salt
- 6 cloves garlic
- 2 onions (diced)
- 4-5 large ripe tomatoes (diced)
- 1 cup water
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 2 tbsp Fish Sauce (Patis)
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Sprinkle rock salt into the crevices of the Tilapias.
- Heat the cooking oil in a large frying pan. Fry both sides. Set aside.
- Using another sauce pan, sauté garlic, onion and tomatoes until soften and they fragrant the whole house
- Add water, bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the tilapia and spoon over the tomato and onion sauce over the fish.
- Add the beaten egg. Give it a stir to incorporate the eggs into the fish dish.
- Add the fish sauce.
- Let everything simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve immediately with a freshly boiled rice.
