Sarciadong Isda (Fish Sarciado)


INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 whole Tilapia (scaled and cleaned)
  • rock salt
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 2 onions (diced)
  • 4-5 large ripe tomatoes (diced)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 2 tbsp Fish Sauce (Patis)
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Sprinkle rock salt into the crevices of the Tilapias.
  2. Heat the cooking oil in a large frying pan. Fry both sides. Set aside.
  3. Using another sauce pan, sauté garlic, onion and tomatoes until soften and they fragrant the whole house 
  4. Add water, bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the tilapia and spoon over the tomato and onion sauce over the fish.
  6. Add the beaten egg. Give it a stir to incorporate the eggs into the fish dish.
  7. Add the fish sauce.
  8. Let everything simmer for 5 minutes.
  9. Serve immediately with a freshly boiled rice.
  10. Enjoy!
